About Kathy Duncan

My passion for art has always been intertwined with the Australian bushlands, flora, and fauna. There was no beginning just an undulating desire. As I journey through life, I am reclaiming my art as a vital outlet for expression.

Living in various places in Australia, especially the 'God lands' of the Western Division, has greatly influenced my art. The vast space, the starkness, and the enduring traditions evident on the land all inspire me.

Not every piece has a story; some are purely for admiring a subject, colour, or moment in time. Stories come from knowledge, and as I learn more, I want to share it through my art.
