'Ivanhoe' Series
This is my latest work and it embodies an eclectic style inspired by the landscapes and Indigenous culture of this beautiful land. As I deepen my understanding of my connection with my mob, my perspectives evolve, enriching my art. It brings me joy and I want to share that with my customers.
'Spring Fields'
'Spring Fields'
This piece inspires me everyday. It is my representation of all the minute colours, blooms, seeds and plants bursting to life from the rich, warm soils of the Ivanhoe fields. Each petal and leaf formed perfectly in extraordinary fashion from the fine red dirt- without fail, every year bursting and growing. Some years are better than others as Mother Nature determines, but still spring is once again on our doorstep with new life, vigour and exhilaration.

Puti-puti (edible seeds, ground into flour) Mutthi Mutthi
Each of the two Puti-puti canvases tells a story of the original bakers. They selected, cultivated and grew plants for their seeds to grind and make flour and panemi (bread).
'Puti-puti I' shows wattleseed pods, wattleseeds, Nardoo seeds, pigweed plants, flowers and seeds.
'Puti-puti II' shows wattleseed pods, wattleseeds, Native Milet plants and seeds and Spinifex seed pods.
The campefire with tracks and the men and women preparing the seeds, flour and bread.

This piece captures the force and rejuvenation of flood waters. Yes they can be very distructive too but the Willandra Creek system is such a lifeforce for our land and animals that the flood waters are welcomed, more often than not. The water flows in whatever direction it can, meandering across the plains refreshing the ground and inviting birds and animals to drink. Black swans, pelicans and even seagulls flock to watery lands and we even had fish swimming up the bitumen roads.

'Charnea'
'Charnea'
This piece is for a friend in Victoria- she brightens my world each and everytime we speak or spend time together. The banksia seed pods remind me of a stroll on a pier with the plants growing wildly in the sand.

These works are a tribute to a softly spoken, smart, considerate friend who balances so much on her plate but still finds the time to spread warmth and joy. She is like the everlasting daisies and flanal flowers that bring a smile to my face.

This beautiful triptych is heading to Broken Hill. It's acrylic on canvas over three panels with each panel measuring 610mm X 1524mm. The purchasers fell in love with my very first offering called 'Fleur' and asked if I would create something similar, but bigger. Going to miss this one!

This special piece heads off soon to two beautiful, young souls who are choosing to commit their lives to each other in our presence. I can't wait to celebrate with you both and present your gfit to you.
